Following Sheffield United’s Premier League elimination in 2021, the 30-year-old sealed his transfer to Rangers. Since then, he has made 151 appearances for the massive Scottish team, but it looks like he may be leaving.

According to reports, he is reportedly in talks with Trabzonspor of Turkey and will become a free agent this summer when his contract expires. Nonetheless, the Everton academy graduate may be planning a return to England one day.

On his Patreon page, reporter Alan Nixon claims that if negotiations with Trabzonspor fail, Ipswich is prepared to step in and entice Lundstram. The 30-year-old would provide the Ipswich team, which lacks Premier League experience, a plethora of experience.
Over the weekend, The Tractor Boys secured their promotion from the Championship by defeating Leeds United to secure the second automatic spot. Ipswich defeated Huddersfield Town 2-0, while Leeds lost to Southampton to end the regular season.

It was Ipswich’s second straight promotion, coming one year after they were rescued from League One. It wouldn’t be shocking if Lundstram, who is renowned for his stamina and football acumen, blended in well at Portman Road.
